Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

This is the privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") that governs how we, Andrii Dushar, a sole proprietor trading as Rubyroid Tech ("Rubyroid", "we", "our" or "us"), use Personal Information (defined below) that we collect, receive and store about individuals in connection with the use of (i) our website, rubyroid.tech (together with its sub-domains, content and services, the "Site"); and (ii) our apps for Wix websites, including Rubyroid Shop Sync, WebLang, Etsy Easy Sync and our other apps listed on the Wix App Market (the "Apps") (collectively, the "Services").

1. Introduction

We have implemented this Privacy Policy because your privacy, and the privacy of other users, is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your Personal Information is collected and used in connection with the Services. "Personal Information" means any information that may be used, either alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, an email address, a phone number or other contact information.

2. Consent and Modification

You are not legally obligated to provide us Personal Information, and you hereby confirm that providing us Personal Information is at your own free will. By using the Services, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to our collection, processing and sharing of Personal Information for the purposes set forth herein. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not access or otherwise use the Services. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Such change will be effective ten (10) days following posting of the revised Privacy Policy on the Site, and your continued use of the Services thereafter means that you accept those changes.

3. What Personal Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We do not currently require you to provide Personal Information in order to have access to general information available on the Site. But we do receive and/or collect Personal Information in the following ways:

  1. Contact us. If you contact us by email or through a form or chat on our Site or in our Apps, you may provide us with your full name, email address, telephone number and any other information you wish to share with us.
  2. Installing our Apps on Wix. When you install one of our Apps, Wix shares with us information about your Wix site and account that the App needs to work, such as the site ID and URL, the site owner's name and email address, the site language and, depending on the App, store data such as products, prices, images, inventory and collections. We only access the data covered by the permissions you approve during installation.
  3. Purchases. Paid plans for our Apps are purchased and billed through Wix. We receive the plan and billing status from Wix but we do not receive or store any credit card details.
  4. Log files. We may make use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, clicked pages and any other information your browser may send to us. We use such information to analyze trends, administer the Services and fix problems.
  5. Cookies and other tracking technologies. We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the Services are used. Some cookies may be set by third parties, such as analytics providers. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the Services may not work correctly if you do.
  6. Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how often users visit the Services and which pages they use. We do not combine this information with Personal Information. Google's use of this information is governed by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Data from Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

Our Rubyroid Shop Sync app sends the products of your Wix store to a Meta product catalog so you can sell them on your Facebook and Instagram shop. To do this, you connect your Meta account through Facebook Login for Business and choose which business assets the app may use.

What we receive from Meta

How we use it

We only use data received from Meta to provide this functionality to you. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising or profiling, and do not share it with anyone except the service providers that host our Services. We access the Meta Graph API only for the permissions you granted (such as catalog_management, business_management and pages_show_list).

How to remove our access and delete your data

You can disconnect your Meta account at any time in the app, or remove the app in your Facebook settings under Business Integrations. To have all data we hold about you deleted, follow our data deletion instructions.

5. The Way We Use Personal Information

  1. We use your Personal Information to provide and improve our Services, to contact you in connection with the Services, to provide support, and to identify and authenticate your access to the parts of the Services that you are authorized to access.
  2. We may use your email address to send you updates or news regarding the Services and our products, and to respond to your requests.

6. Data Retention

We retain Personal Information while you use our Apps and as long as needed to provide the Services, until a data deletion request is received, until any applicable law no longer requires us to retain the data, or until the statute of limitations has expired for any potential claims related to the data involved.

7. The Way We Share Personal Information

We do not sell your Personal Information. We do not share or disclose it to third parties except in the following ways:

  1. With our third-party service providers (for example, hosting, error monitoring, analytics, email and customer support tools), only to assist us with our business operations and to provide our Services to you. Such information may be transferred to other countries.
  2. With the platforms you connect our Apps to (Wix, Meta, Etsy and others), only to perform the actions you ask the App to perform, such as sending your products to your Meta catalog.
  3. If we have a good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce our terms, including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Rubyroid, our users, yourself or the public.

8. Use of Anonymous Information

We may use Anonymous Information to improve our Services. "Anonymous Information" means information which does not enable identification of an individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our Services.

9. Opting Out

You may choose not to receive promotional emails from us by selecting the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email that we send. Even if you opt out, we may still send you administrative emails that are necessary to facilitate your use of the Services.

10. Access, Correction and Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the Personal Information we store about you by sending an email to support@rubyroid.tech. See also our data deletion instructions.

11. Links to and Interaction with Third Party Products

The Services may enable you to interact with or contain links to third-party websites, apps and services that are not owned or controlled by us (each a "Third Party Service"), such as Wix, Meta and Etsy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of Third Party Services, and we encourage you to read their terms and privacy policies.

12. Security

We follow generally accepted industry standards, including appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards, to protect the Personal Information submitted to us. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. If you have any questions about security, contact us at support@rubyroid.tech.

13. Merger, Sale or Bankruptcy

In the event that we are acquired by or merged with a third party entity, or in the event of bankruptcy or a comparable event, we reserve the right to transfer or assign Personal Information in connection with the foregoing events.

14. California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our customers who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send an email to support@rubyroid.tech. We do not track consumers over time and across third party websites and therefore do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

15. Contact

If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, or the Personal Information we store about you, contact us at support@rubyroid.tech.
